Calvin Bennett

Calvin joined Inter-Varsity as the Executive Director of Ontario Pioneer, in 2002. He has over 30 years of experience directing camp, both in wilderness and inner-city settings. Over a 15-year period he directed Salvation Army Camps prior to joining Inter-Varsity.

“Camp is the strongest outreach arm of the church. I believe camp is the best place for young people to develop a relationship with God. I’ve seen it happen in the lives of my own children, and of thousands of others.”

As Vice President of Camps, Calvin works with Circle Square and Pioneer camps run by intervarsity across Canada. A graduate of Tyndale and Cairn University he has a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership. Calvin and his wife, JoAnn, live in Muskoka, Ontario with their three daughters.
